# Managing chatbots

> Your account home: every chatbot at a glance.

The **Chatbots** page (your account home) lists every chatbot you own or are
a member of, with its key numbers at a glance. Select a chatbot to open its
dashboard.

## Create a chatbot

Select **Create New Chatbot**, give it a name, and you land in the new
chatbot ready to [add content](/docs/content/overview). How many chatbots your
account can have depends on your plan; see the
[pricing page](https://sitegpt.ai/pricing) and your **Usage** page for your
current count.

## Organize the work, not the bots

One chatbot per website (or per distinct audience) is the usual shape. You
rarely need more:

* Different tone on different pages? One chatbot with
  [page context awareness](/docs/customize/model-and-behavior) usually covers it.
* Different teams? Add [members](/docs/features/members) to the same chatbot with
  the right roles.
* A separate brand or a separate knowledge base is a genuine reason for a
  second chatbot.

## Transfer or remove

* Deleting a chatbot is permanent; see
  [Delete your chatbot](/docs/navigating-your-chatbot/delete-chatbot).
