# Use cases

> Common ways teams use SiteGPT: support deflection, lead generation, internal knowledge, and more.

SiteGPT is most valuable where the same questions arrive again and again and
the answers already exist somewhere in your content. These are the patterns we
see most often.

## Customer support

Answer routine questions instantly so your team only handles the conversations
that need a human.

* Train on your help center, docs, and policy pages. See
  [Add your content](/docs/content/overview).
* Add [custom responses](/docs/features/custom-responses) for your top questions so
the exact wording is always right.
* Turn on [human support](/docs/features/human-support) so anything the AI cannot
resolve reaches your team with full context, by email, webhook, or in tools
  like [Zendesk](/docs/integrations/zendesk) and [Slack](/docs/integrations/slack).

## Lead generation

Turn anonymous visitors into contacts while answering their pre-sales
questions.

* Set up [lead collection](/docs/features/lead-collection) with the fields your
sales team needs, from a simple email to full custom forms.
* Trigger the form when a visitor shows interest, when the AI cannot answer,
or after a set number of messages.
* Route captured leads to email notifications, a
  [webhook](/docs/developers/webhooks), or your CRM.
* Add booking links so qualified visitors schedule a call right in the chat.

## After-hours coverage

Your chatbot answers around the clock. Combine it with
[human support](/docs/features/human-support) email notifications so overnight
escalations are waiting for your team in the morning, with the full
conversation attached.

## Internal knowledge

Point a chatbot at internal documentation and share it with your team instead
of your website. Use the [inline embed](/docs/setup/integrating-with-your-website)
to place it inside an internal portal, and add
[team members](/docs/features/members) so the whole team can manage it.

## Multilingual support

SiteGPT answers in the language the visitor writes in, and every fixed string
in the widget can be translated in
[Language & Region](/docs/customize/language-and-region). One chatbot can serve a
multilingual audience without separate setups.

## Agent-operated chatbots

If you work with AI coding agents, SiteGPT is built to be operated by them:
the [CLI](/docs/cli/overview), [MCP server](/docs/cli/mcp-server), and
[Agent API](/docs/api-reference/v2/getting-started) let an agent create a chatbot
from a website, maintain its knowledge, and review conversations without
opening the dashboard.
