# Members

> Invite your team to a chatbot with role-based access.

Members let your team work on a chatbot together: agents answering
escalations, editors maintaining content, admins running the setup.

## Roles

| Role            | What they can do                                                                                              |
| --------------- | ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- |
| **Agent**       | Work conversations: read chat history, reply to visitors, handle escalations and leads.                       |
| **Manager**     | Everything agents do, plus manage content and customization.                                                  |
| **Admin**       | Everything managers do, plus chatbot settings and integrations.                                               |
| **Super Admin** | Full control of the chatbot, including members. The chatbot's creator is a Super Admin and cannot be removed. |

Billing always stays with the account owner; members never see your billing.

## Invite someone

    In your chatbot's sidebar under **Advanced**, open **Members**.

    Enter their email, pick a role, and select **Send Invite**.

  <Step title="They sign in with the link">
    The invite email signs them straight in; SiteGPT is passwordless, so
    there is no account setup step for them.

To change someone's role, remove them and re-invite with the new role.

## Seats and limits

Member seats are counted as unique email addresses across all chatbots you
own: Starter includes 1, Growth 4, Scale 10, and Enterprise scales to your
team. Inviting the same person to three of your chatbots uses one seat.
